Water in the Landscape
A three-hour workshop on April 29, 9am - 12pm. Capturing water is essential if we wish to have productive and edible spaces, especially in our dry climate. Understanding how water moves on your landscape and how to take advantage of it will make your gardens more productive and healthy, not to mention save you money! You will learn about water conservation strategies for your yard and garden, water-harvesting techniques such as swales, rain gardens and rainbarrels and participate in a hands-on activity of building a swale.
This workshop is part three of a four-part Permaculture Design Series. Although it is most beneficial to take all four sessions, participants can also take individual sessions.
