 Join us for a backyard makeover as we turn a regular lawn into a food producing ecosystem! Understand all of the steps involved in integrating a backyard space into a beautiful ecological garden that feeds you in bounty and beauty. Help create a food forest in an afternoon!

The Edible Backyard Blitz will take place at Blunderbuss
. Blunderbuss is a house dedicated to creating the ultimate work environment for artists, makers, entrepreneurs, activists, and project-goers. Come check out this great experiment in community living and learning and help them install an edible backyard!

Saturday, May 20th, 10am - 2pm
Blunderbuss, 5360 Love Lane, Bozeman
Cost: $15-$30 sliding scale (includes lunch!)

We'll cover some theory on creating food forests and then get to the implementation in this hands-on workshop. We'll be planting a fruit tree, berry bushes, edible herbs and other beneficial plants. Come learn how to design, plant and install a similar system in your backyard. Snacks and lunch will be provided. Please register in advance.
